Thomas Fields has been working in the Financial Services industry since 1980, managing assets of affluent individuals and pension plans and designing benefit programs. Tom earned his degree in Math from Occidental College in Los Angeles. In 1987, he earned the professional credential CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®). He was a FINRA Registered Representative from 1986-2012 and a Supervisory Principal from 1997-2012. Initially, he focused on small business owners advising them on their company’s benefit program and personal financial planning. In 1994 he was drawn to the client-centric model that fee-based advisory services provided which lead to the founding of Fields Financial Associates, Inc (FFA). As FFA grew and refined its wealth management services, the firm’s name was changed to form FMB Wealth Management.
